On the beachfront
of the Bonnie Vale Picnic Grounds, Bundeena
Off Sea Breeze Lane (second turn on the
left after you arrive in the township of Bundeena -
If arriving by ferry, we are a leisurely 15 minute walk from the wharf. If driving,
upon entering the township of Bundeena, turn at the second street on your left (Sea
Breeze Lane). Please note that Bonnie Vale picnic grounds are a part of the Royal
National Park. If parking your car in this area you will need to purchase a National
Park Permit (approximately $11) from the National Park Visitor Centre at Audley or
from Bundeena Service Station. Alternatively you can park your car in the main street
of Bundeena and walk to the beach front.
The Bonnie Vale picnic and camping grounds
are a great base for a day out. Go for a dip in the sheltered clear waters of Simpson’s
Bay,make sand castles on the beach, relax in the grassy picnic grounds or bring along
your fishing gear and catch your lunch! Then you can cook up a storm using the provided
gas BBQ facilities.

If travelling by car, Bundeena is a 20 minute drive from Sutherland. Just turn off
the Princes Highway after the suburb of Kirrawee (at Farnell Avenue) and follow the
signs to Bundeena. This is a lovely trip through the Royal National Park and takes
about 20 minutes.
